Furniture Design Gramophone Bench Bench by Hung Yuan Chang Before the digital devices took over the position of how entertainment media was delivered, phonograph was one of the few but important devices that people used and enjoyed music. Family and friends get together and share a good time. The idea is to recreate the atmosphere when people are very close to each other and share something beautiful together. The bench was inspired by phonograph. Users sitting on it could interact with each other and kids could play underneath it. The design of higher than the middle in the 2 ends makes people sitting on it get closer spontaneously.
