Nina and Beni Chair

Furniture Design Nina and Beni Chair by Andrés Mariño Maza Inspired by the aerodynamic yet efficient forms of naval construction the Nina & Beni chair is made from 100% sustainably sourced forests.Two steam-bent strips cantilever over the seat to serve first as legs then armrest and finally mold to the lumbar area. In an exercise of efficiency the Nina chair uses the least amount of material to create beautiful complex forms. Crafted with century old technology along with modern 3d machinery the Nina & Beni chair tests the limits of what is possible with wood.
